Petite Maison in Colorado Springs, Colorado
For over 18 years, La
Petite Maison has charmed its dinner guests with some of the
best contemporary cuisine in Colorado Springs. Owner, Jeff Mervis,
and chef, Christine Adrian, oversee
every detail of the food they serve and make it the reason you'll
come back again and again. All of the dishes are prepared to
order using carefully chosen fresh ingredients and herbs from
their own gardens.
The Menu features savory
flavors and tastes from a variety of cuisines and cultures,
and includes meat, fresh fish, lamb, pork, duck and pasta dishes
prepared in the traditions of the classics with a contemporary
flair.
On any given night, Desserts
may include Cafe Pots de Creme, Chocolate Almond Torte, Creme
Caramel, White Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Berries, Chilled
Lemon Souffle with Raspberry Sauce, Chocolate Amond Parfait
with Vanilla Ice Cream made in-house, and Celebration Cake (hazelnut
and almond meringue with chocolate, vanilla and praline buttercreams).
The Wine list has been
voted Best Restaurant Wine List in "Best of the Springs"
by the Colorado Springs Independent, combining good value with
a high quality selection.
La Petite Maison is located
in a restored Victorian cottage built in 1894 on the historic
West Side of Colorado Springs. The restaurant opened for business
in June of 1978, and has dedicated itself to the continuous
quality and attention to detail that make it a truly great restaurant.
While dining in one of
the two dining rooms in this beautifully appointed cottage,
you will enjoy the elegant air of the restaurant, as well as
the quiet and friendly atmosphere of a home that will make you
and your dinner companions feel as though you're the only guests.
The servers are attentive and unobtrusive. The Zagat Survey
of restaurants of the Rocky Mountain Region rated La Petite
Maison in the top category of "extraordinary to perfection".
