Game Management Units 66 & 67 are ‘Draw Only’ units. When you hunt with the Powderhorn Edge, all you need is your personal gear and a license – we handle the rest. Basic field care of game is included in your adventure packet - caping and skinning (if desired) and delivery of meat is available at an additional, nominal fee.

Muzzleloaders: Muzzleloading licenses for elk and deer are DRAW ONLY with an April 1, annual deadline for applications. Muzzleloading license normally take 2 or 3 preference points to guarantee a successful draw. Our Dude and Guest Ranch season stretches into Muzzleloading and archery – so our clients stay at Fish Canyon Getaway or one of our other exclusive hunting properties.

5 day hunt – (1 guide, 1 hunter) $3,800.00 per person
5 day hunt – (1 guide, 2 hunter) $3,300.00 per person
7 day hunt – (1 guide, 1 hunter) $4,500.00 per person
7 day hunt – (1 guide, 2 hunter) $3,800.00 per person

Archery: Archery Elk licenses are unlimited. Archery deer licenses are DRAW ONLY with an April 1st, annual deadline.

Colorado Division of Wildlife

Regulations such as point restrictions and numbers of license available are at the Colorado Wildlife Commission meetings. Application deadlines are April 1st annually so if you are interested in hunting Colorado, get your application in soon! You can access DOW website at http://wildlife.state.co.us or write to;

Deposit Policy

A 50% deposit is required in advance. Deposits should be received no later than July 1st of this year to secure your reservation for next year. We accept cashiers' check, money orders, personal checks, Visa, American Express or MasterCard. The balance of your adventure package rate is due 45 days prior to your hunt.

Terms of your deposit commence upon execution. These terms continue until they are terminated by you (with or without cause) by written notice only a minimum of 120 days in advance of your scheduled hunt. Written notice must be mailed to;

And received 120 days in advance of your scheduled hunt. If  written notice is not received within 120 days at our Ranch - your entire deposit will be forfeited!

Upon receipt of your 50% deposit, a written contract outlining our services will be provided to you. We will also send an equipment list to you at that time.

Your entire deposit is refundable within 120 days if you are unsuccessful in the draw. You can also choose to apply this deposit to a future hunt - securing your requested season should you be successful in that draw. This offer is good without a price increase for 2 years!

If you are successful in the draw - you are expected to pay the balance of your adventure package rate 60 days prior to your hunt. If you do not, you will lose your entire deposit and forfeit your reservation and hunting privilege on our Ranch. If you are successful in the draw, yet you choose not to hunt at our Ranch, the 50% deposit is not refunded.

Those hunters booking 1 or 2 years in advance are offered a 10% total adventure package discount rate upon providing 50% of the adventure package price. A 5% total adventure package discount is offered to any hunter paying the entire amount of the adventure package rate by December 1st of the year prior to their hunt.

Gratuity Policy

Gratuities are accepted by the Ranch and are split equally among all of the Ranch employee that made your stay special. Gratuities are not mandatory.
